The Merlin Reverse Osmosis (RO) Drinking Water System is a water treatment unit. It uses water pressure to reverse a natural physical process called osmosis. Water, under pressure, is forced through a semi-permeable membrane to filter out minerals and impurities. Clean drinking water goes to the tap. Minerals and impurities are sent to the drain with RO wastewater

The system includes replaceable filters and membrane elements. The prefilter removes sand, silt, dirt, rust particles, and other sediments, and chlorine from the water supply before they enter the RO membrane elements. Merlin Factory Booster Pump, Overstock Special Price £150: Genuine Merlin Booster Pump, will improve the performance of you merlin, Installation is easy, ½” In-line push-fit connections. The pump will automatically turn on and off when the Merlin is producing water. The Booster pump is a variable speed pump designed to produce water pressure up to 80psi, regardless of the inlet pressure.
Single Merlin Membrane. £70: Merlin Reverse Osmosis Replacement Membrane - Membrane element for the 720 gallon-per-day MerlinTM reverse osmosis system. These membranes should be changed every 2-3 years,usually in pairs.
MERLIN-PRE FILTER £20: Merlin Reverse Osmosis Carbon/Sediment Pre-Filter - Carbon/Sediment pre-filter provides protection and pre-filtration for the membrane element. This filter should be changed every 6 months.
MERLIN-POST FILTER £14: Merlin Reverse Osmosis System Carbon Post-Filter - MERLIN-POST - This granular activated carbon post filter provides the final "polish" to your purified drinking water. This filter should be changed every 8 to 12 months.
Additional Housing/Cartridges for Producing De-Ionised Water: All our DI cartridges and Housing are filled with identical media (Mixed Bed Ion Exchange Resin) to produce deionised water. Typicaly for commercial uses such as laboratories, dentists, circuit boards, printing, batteries, etc..
